Ledeti Privacy Policy
Privacy requests are handled through the channel listed at the end of this policy, and rights are honored according to the law that applies to the requester. The sections below describe how Ledeti treats information in a restrained, legally necessary way.
Privacy Coverage
This policy applies to Ledeti, a utility app operated for personal use on supported devices. It covers information submitted to, generated through, stored for, or otherwise handled in connection with the app, including content a user chooses to keep in the app and records needed to operate paid access.
References to “we,” “our,” or “us” mean the operator responsible for Ledeti. References to “information” include personal information where applicable privacy law treats it as such. Some information may remain on the device, while other information may be handled by service providers that support app operations, purchase processing, security, communications, or legal compliance.
Content Safeguards
Ledeti may involve user-created content that reflects personal memories, notes, labels, preferences, or other private context chosen by the user. Because this kind of content can be personal even when it is not regulated as a special category of data, we treat it as user-directed content and limit handling to purposes connected with app operation, preservation of user selections, legal obligations, security, and requests from the user.
Users should avoid adding information about other people unless they have a lawful basis or permission to do so. Where content includes another person’s personal information, the user is responsible for ensuring that the content is appropriate to submit, store, or manage through the app.
Information We Handle
The app may receive or create information needed for ordinary operation and legal administration. This can include user-provided content, technical app activity, purchase confirmation data, support messages, and privacy or legal request correspondence.
For App Store or other marketplace purchases, payment credentials and billing details are processed by the marketplace under its own terms and privacy practices. Ledeti may receive limited status, receipt, transaction, entitlement, or similar confirmation data needed to provide paid access, resolve purchase issues, prevent abuse, and keep required records.
Technical information may also be generated during use, such as logs, error data, app version, language setting, device characteristics, and reliability or security signals. The exact information depends on the device environment, app version, legal requirements, and supporting services used.
Why Information Is Used
Information is used to operate Ledeti, maintain user-selected content, provide paid access, process support and privacy requests, improve reliability, protect the app and users, comply with legal duties, enforce applicable terms, and establish or defend legal rights.
Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom privacy law applies, the lawful bases may include performance of a contract for app operation and paid access, consent where required for optional processing, legitimate interests in security, maintenance, fraud prevention, and service improvement, legal obligation for required records and compliance, and legal claims where information is needed to protect rights or respond to proceedings.
Providers and Legal Sharing
Limited information can be provided to vendors, platform partners, or infrastructure operators when their role is necessary for Ledeti’s operation. Their work may support hosting, storage, diagnostics, support, purchase validation, security, communications, or similar app functions, and their access should stay tied to that role.
Purchase confirmations may pass between Ledeti and the relevant app marketplace so paid access can be verified, restored, protected from abuse, or recorded as required. The marketplace may also process its own information under its separate policies.
Disclosure can also occur for legal process, government requests, enforcement of terms, security review, protection of users or the app, or a business transfer such as a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale. A receiving party in that type of transfer must either honor this policy or provide any notice required for a material change.
Keeping Information
Retention depends on why the information is needed and whether a legal, operational, purchase, security, or rights-related reason still applies. User-directed content, technical records, purchase confirmations, support messages, and legal correspondence may follow different retention periods.
Content may remain available while it is maintained in the app or related storage. Other records can remain for backup integrity, dispute handling, purchase administration, compliance, fraud prevention, or protection of rights. When a record no longer has a valid reason to be kept, it is deleted, de-identified, aggregated, or placed outside ordinary identifiable use.
Security Measures
Ledeti uses practical safeguards designed to limit unauthorized access and reduce avoidable risk. Those safeguards may involve restricted access, provider controls, protected transmission where available, operational monitoring, and internal handling procedures.
Security cannot be absolute. Device access, platform credentials, backups, and network conditions remain partly under the user’s control. If an incident triggers a legal notice duty, notice will be given as required by applicable law.
Version Record
This version of the Ledeti Privacy Policy is effective May 29, 2026, and was last updated May 29, 2026.
Changes may be made when app operations, providers, legal requirements, or information practices change. Material updates will be presented through a reasonable notice method, such as an in-app notice, website posting, app marketplace update notes, or another legally appropriate channel. Continued use after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies from that effective date, except where additional consent is required by law.
Age-Related Safeguards
Ledeti is intended for users who have legal capacity to use mobile apps and make privacy choices in their place of residence. If a parent, guardian, or legally responsible adult believes that a minor has provided information in a manner that requires review, correction, or deletion, the request may be sent through the privacy mailbox listed below.
When applicable law requires parental consent, guardian involvement, or a different age threshold, those requirements control. We may delete or limit information where we determine that continued handling is not appropriate under age-related privacy rules.
Privacy Controls
Privacy rights vary by location, but they may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or appeal of a privacy decision. Requests will be evaluated under the law that applies to the requester and the information involved.
Users may also control certain information through device settings, app settings, app marketplace controls, or choices made inside Ledeti. Some choices may affect app functionality or paid access. Where consent is the basis for processing, withdrawal of consent will not affect earlier lawful processing.
For EEA, UK, or similar privacy regimes, users may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For other regions, additional rights may apply under local law. We will not discriminate against a user for exercising privacy rights where that protection is required by law.
Where to Send Privacy Requests
Privacy requests for Ledeti should be directed to support@ledeti.app. Messages should give enough context for proper routing without including unnecessary details.
Requests will be reviewed under applicable law, and a response will be provided within the required period when a response is legally required.
